2012 August 18-19

August 18, 2012 Saturday

            I worked from 2:30 to 10:00 p.m.  Very long day and only collected $118.00 in fees.  The only activity I had was with people coming in as day visitors.

            There was a community supper of pork loin, baked beans, coleslaw, corn casserole, and a brownie with ice cream.  Because I was working, Ella brought mine to me at the fee booth.

August 19, 2012 Sunday

            We hosted a guest speaker at our worship service today.  She is doing missionary work here in the United States.  Many people stayed for quite a while after the service to visit with her.  I picked up a pizza at the Campfire Café and offered it to all who wanted to stay and eat with us.  Teresa, Ella and I stayed and ate with Teri, our speaker.  We had and even longer visit over the pizza.  Ella had to be at work at 1:00 which is the only reason that we broke up the conversation when we did.

            I work from 3:30 to 9:00 this afternoon/evening.
