It started raining yesterday afternoon and has been continuing to do so fairly regularly ever since. That is a real blessing in this parched Texas hill country. Since we're sitting on a mountain of granite with nearly no top soil, the moisture can't soak in. The vegetation has to grasp it quick before it runs off down the mountain. Because it can't soak in to the ground, it pools in rocky low areas also. The "dry ravine" behind our RV now has a fast moving stream rushing through it. I'll repost later later with some photos and/or videos.
